Advertising and Partnership Terms
Last updated: October 6, 2026
These Advertising and Partnership Terms (“Terms”) apply to sponsored content, advertising placements, affiliate partnerships, product reviews, and other promotional services provided by POWER TRAVELER Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By requesting or purchasing our services, the advertiser, agency, or partner (“Partner”) agrees to these Terms.
1. Services
We may provide services including:
- Sponsored articles
- Product reviews and comparisons
- SEO-focused content
- Affiliate promotions
- Newsletter placements
- Display or contextual advertising
- Other promotional campaigns agreed upon in writing
The scope, schedule, price, and deliverables for each campaign will be confirmed separately by email, written proposal, insertion order, or other written agreement.
2. Editorial Independence
We retain final editorial control over all content published on our websites and media properties.
Sponsored content and affiliate relationships may be clearly disclosed in accordance with applicable laws, advertising standards, search-engine guidelines, and our editorial policies.
We do not guarantee positive reviews. Opinions and evaluations must remain honest, accurate, and useful to our audience.
3. Partner Responsibilities
The Partner must provide accurate, lawful, and up-to-date information about its products, services, pricing, claims, and promotional offers.
The Partner confirms that any materials it supplies—including logos, images, trademarks, product information, and advertising copy—may legally be used for the agreed campaign.
We may reject or remove content that is misleading, unlawful, harmful, discriminatory, or inconsistent with our editorial standards.
4. Fees and Payment
Fees are determined according to the campaign scope, production requirements, placement, and duration.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Sponsored articles start from US$500.
- Applicable taxes and transaction fees may be charged separately.
- Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.
- Publication may be postponed until payment or campaign approval is received.
Affiliate campaigns may instead operate under a CPA, revenue-share, or other performance-based commission model agreed upon by both parties.
5. Revisions and Approval
The number and scope of revisions will be agreed upon before production begins.
Partners must review drafts and provide feedback within the agreed review period. Delayed feedback may result in a delayed publication date.
Requested changes must not compromise factual accuracy, editorial independence, legal disclosure requirements, or audience trust.
6. Cancellations
Cancellation terms will be specified in the individual campaign agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed, fees for research, writing, design, or other work already completed are non-refundable. We may also charge reasonable costs incurred before cancellation.
7. Publication and Placement
Publication dates and placements are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
We may update, relocate, add disclosures to, or remove content when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, accuracy, website maintenance, security, or editorial reasons.
Any guaranteed publication period must be agreed upon in writing before the campaign begins.
8. Performance
We do not guarantee specific traffic, rankings, leads, conversions, sales, commissions, or other business results.
Audience figures and historical performance data are provided for general reference and do not guarantee future performance.
9. Intellectual Property
Each party retains ownership of its pre-existing intellectual property.
Unless otherwise agreed, we retain copyright in content created by us. After full payment, the Partner may link to and share the published content for promotional purposes.
Republishing, modifying, translating, or distributing the complete content outside its original publication location requires prior written permission.
10. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to protect confidential business information received in connection with a campaign and to use it only for the agreed partnership.
This obligation does not apply to information that is public, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from a campaign.
Our total liability relating to a campaign will not exceed the amount paid to us for that campaign, except where such a limitation is prohibited by law.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate a partnership if the other party materially breaches these Terms and does not correct the breach within a reasonable period after receiving written notice.
We may suspend or terminate a campaign immediately if it involves unlawful conduct, misleading claims, non-payment, security risks, or material harm to our audience or reputation.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over our principal place of business in Japan.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when necessary. The version published on this page at the time a campaign is agreed upon will apply unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
